Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

PERRYSVILLE, Ind. (CNS) -- Services were Thursday at the G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home in Indianapolis for Oscar McLain, 66, of 2317 E. Bradbury, Indianapolis, a former resident of Perrysville. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery there. Mr. McLain died Tuesday (Sept. 17, 1974) at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born in Perrysville, he had been employed as foreman of the Cardinal Machinery Moving Co. for 20 years. He was a member of the Ironworkers Union Local 22 and the Jehovah's Witness Graigwood Congregation. Survivors include his wife, Leva J.; a daughter, Mrs. Forrest (Harriet) Farley of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Fauniel Howard of Cayuga ; a brother, Henry D. of Cayuga ; and three grandchildren.  --typed by Walt W
